Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 April 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Jake AI (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and resume editing services (“Service”).

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: when you sign in (for example with Google), we receive identifiers and email address from your identity provider, processed by our authentication provider.
  • Resume content: text and structure you enter in the editor, stored so you can edit and retrieve your resumes.
  • Usage and technical data: browser type, device information, and logs as needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Payment data: if you purchase paid features, payment details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • authenticate you and protect accounts;
  • process payments and fulfil purchases;
  • provide optional AI-assisted features you request;
  • comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service (for example hosting, authentication, payments, and AI inference), subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Retention

We retain account and resume data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for backup, legal, or operational needs unless you delete content or your account where we offer that capability.

6. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.

8. International transfers

Where we or our processors transfer data across borders, we do so in line with applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date.
